Friday’s lesson: “Signs Of True Salvation” Do you doubt your salvation? You’re not alone! The book of 1 John is a powerful antidote for doubting and wavering in our faith. He makes it clear that his purpose in writing is that we know that we have eternal life. We aren’t meant to live in a perpetual state of doubt.1 John 5:13 “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life”.….continue reading
Jesus, who was the Master Teacher, constantly used the teaching method most suitable for His audience, and a quick search through the scriptures shows that Jesus used a variety of many teaching methods. Included in the different tools Christ used were the scriptures, parables, inspired questions, discussion, logic, object lessons, analogies, preaching, silence, repetition, prophecy, experience, observation and testimony.

The Reality About Men! Can they be happy men, husbands and fathers? …
You really want to know what men confess to when they’re in fellowship of men they really trust. Can you deal with the truth, the truth concealed by most men in our neighborhoods behind their masks, their fake smiles, and their great efforts to “look successful” at all costs? Okay, if you believe you’re ready, come join us for an unusually frank and open discussion about why men do the things they do, and just how they truly feel!
What Men REALLY Need!
Our society has made it almost impossible for men to get what they truly need to succeed in relationships. Instead, we depend on old survival skills and coping mechanisms. They’re not working for us anymore. Discover what men REALLY need, how to get it, and how being given what we share can completely transform men, relationships and our culture.
Whatever level of their spiritual maturity, all men go through troubles at different times in their lives. On any given Sunday, many men in churches may be going through enormous challenges. Often times, we ask men, “How many of you are going through a major struggle in one or more of these subjects: faith, finances, marriage, relationships, temperament, integrity, identities, employment or health?” More than half the hands go up every time.
Men are hurting!
In that every man goes through. He cites three reasons he has seen for men to suffer: (1) For doing wrong; (2) for doing right; (3) for what seems to be no reason at all. You can probably think of men you know that fit into each of those categories.
Unfortunately, many men tend to respond to suffering the same way–whether it’s their suffering or someone else’s–they flee relationships, isolate themselves. Sometimes in an effort to appear strong, sometimes because they just don’t know what to do.
But the Bible is clear about what our response is supposed to be. Jesus told his followers, “By this all everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). In Galatians 6:2, Paul encourages the Christians in the churches he is writing to, “Bear one another’s burdens.” He says
Every man needs to have at least a couple of other men who know them well enough to recognize when something’s not right.
What do you need!
Is your relationship on the rocks?
Feeling disconnected & lonely?
Need support as a father?
Feeling stuck in your career?
Tough finding joy in your life?
Or is it another issue?
Men all want the same things…Get Out of the Problem and into the Solution- Jesus Christ!
We want to feel love, joy, passion, and peace.
We want to be happy in our relationships.
We want to feel of value, and spend our days at our jobs in a way that fulfills us.
We want to not be so angry, jealous, and resentful.
We want to know that we’re good enough as men, fathers, and husbands.
We want to feel the confidence necessary to live without doubt and fear.
Paul reminds us in Romans 15:13 that we believe in a “God of hope” who can “fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
